Hello there, my name is solazora; but feel free to call me sol-san (please do, however, refrain from calling me sol-chan. If you call me sol-sama, I'll give you a cookie. (・ω・)⊃◎ ). I'm an avid user on wikia and have founded a few wiki communities, as well as adopted a few, including the Black Cat Wiki. If you have any questions regarding anything, feel free to contact me!
Currently I am working on going through the articles that currently exist on the wiki and seeing what articles are needing to be added, as well going through images and organizing/cleaning up, this will include some renaming, so to make things a little easier and not increase the workload, please be sure to read our image policy before uploading any images.
Update: Back from my hiatus! :D
A Little About sol-sama
Now for a little more on me. I'm a little OCD, so the idea of there being a big gap next to the infobox is a little... frustrating for me. So if you're sitting down, stand up and sit back down and buckle up as you jump on the bandwagon, if you decided to stick around, then here comes a short story worth of text for you.
First things first, I'll cover and elaborate on a few things the infobox mentions. So I tend to go by different handles on the internet, solazora is the most common. Half the time if you encounter a solazora on another site, chances are it might be me, but this isn't always the case. There is a solazora on twitter, but that's not me. Fun fact, people often think I'm Hispanic because of this handle, which I'm not. From what I've been told, sola is Spanish for alone, something I was completely oblivious to until it was pointed out to me (I took German in school in place of Spanish). To completely explain the origin of this name, it's pretty much a combination of sola (an anime I was fond of in the past) and aozora (Japanese for blue sky), case closed. I've used this handle for a few years now, and I have no intention of dropping it anytime in the near future. Yaochame is also my previously used handle, but I've stopped using it about 5 years ago. Honestly, I cannot remember how I came up with this name, but I think I was messing around with some Kanji in Google Translate and it just spat out this name. I liked it, so I used it, pretty much it. It otherwise has no real meaning to me and had no thought put into it, unlike my current handle. Regardless, I was fond of it, so I often use it for things like in-game names with MMPORG if I already have another character with my current handle. Yes, I'm a bit of a gamer girl. Lastly, solstice is pretty much like a nickname for my current handle. Again, no real meaning, but I've used it for previous blogs I had in the past.
Next up, I'm a 22 year-old young lady who is often mistaken for being in junior high due to my short stature and young appearance.
I have a lot of hobbies I enjoy, to the point I'm very busy with them and don't have much time for anything else. Most of my hobbies tend to be art related and include the following: drawing, sculpting, digital media (photomanipulations primarily), painting, and tons of other mixed media. I'm going to school to study Graphic Design, and ultimately wish to get a Master's degree. My plan is get an internship with a web/graphic design company and work my way from there. My dream is to work for a game company designing websites for games and writing game scenarios, and eventually founding my own company that specializes in Visual Novel style games. On the side, I have my own etsy, where I sell the art I make, mostly jewelry made out of polymer clay. I've also started working with resin lately. On occasion, I will paint. I don't sell my paintings, but rather keep them for room decor.
As for some other little tidbits about me:
Truth be told, I'm a pretty laid back person, as well as an introvert. I'm not exactly a people person, and though I do enjoy outings with friends, I prefer to keep to myself. This all may just stem from my timidness, but truthfully I've never had any interest in the concept of socialization unless absolutely necessary. So because of that, when it comes to an exchange of friendly messages that don't relate to responsibilities, I tend to be pretty slow with replying. Basically, if I'm in the middle of something, no matter what it is, I'll finish it up first before getting around to replying, even if it can wait. Regardless, I may have people listed as one of my dislikes, but I'm not difficult to talk to by any means, nor am I unfriendly. So if you ever wish to chat or ask me anything, go right ahead. I won't bite. ;)
I will now cease my rambling and leave this section be, I believe I filled up the colossal gap with enough jabber.
