Tanya (ターニャ Tānya) is a waitress who works at various restaurants where Sven Vollfied ends up.

Appearance

Tanya is a young woman who has orange hair, and blue eyes. She always wears a waitress outfit.

Personality

Tanya is capable and cheerful, as well as friendly toward Sven, but she is very strict when it comes to his tab. Despite this personality, Tanya is strong and courageous and is not afraid to stand up for herself or anyone else.

Manga Plot

Tanya is working in Braccio City as a waitress. When one of the waitresses was being harassed, she went to save her, only to be saved by Sven instead. As a reward, she then opens a tab for him.

After Lib Tyrant's death, she moves to another town to work as a waitress in another restaurant, where she yet again encounters Sven Vollfied.

After the destruction of Eden, she dates with the Rich Man, but gets mad at him when he becomes intoxicated.

Relationships

Sven Vollfied

For some reason, Tanya always ends up at the same restaurant Sven goes to. This offers her the opportunity to constantly tease him. Generally, she is very friendly towards him, even offering him food despite previously stating that he would not get anything for free.

Eve

Tanya keeps referring to Eve as Sven's daughter, much to the man's annoyance. She believes Eve is bright, and mature for her age.

Trivia

• Tanya's role in the series is to provide comic relief, seeing as she is part of a running gag.
• Though she was created for the anime, Tanya has a couple of brief cameo appearance in the Black Cat manga special, Chapter XX.
