Saki (サキ Saki) is a woman whom Train meets on his journey to Kraken island.

Appearance

Saki bares a striking resemblance to Saya Minatsuki. Her clothes consist of a white top, with golden accents, and a dark pink skirt, as well as a dark green belt wrapped around her waist.

Personality

Saki's personality also resembles that of Saya's. She is very protective of the people she loves.

History

Saki was an attendant of a king in a faraway land. After the prince was born, their God said that the newborn was cursed, and must be killed. Unable to do such a thing, Saki, and her friends fled to the mountains with the infant to protect him. This did not stop people from following, and attacking them to kill the prince. Saki's friends died, leaving her to care for the child.

Anime Plot

Saki finds Train past out on her doorstep. She carries him to bed, and cares for him. When he wakes up, she introduces herself, and shows him around. She tells him a little about herself, but Train feels that she is hiding something. When Saki is attacked by giant robots, Train comes to her aid, despite Saki insisting that she doesn't need any. After defeating the enemy, Saki tells Train her story, and he tells her that her friends were satisfied that they fought with her till the end.

At the end of the episode, it is revealed that Train had been dreaming all along.

Equipment and Abilities

Marksmanship: Saki is seen fighting with a rifle, as well as owning other guns, suggesting that she is a remarkable marksman.

Relationships

Train Heartnet

Saki cared for Train when she found him past out in front of her home. She helped him recover, and became good friends with him. Despite knowing him for a short time, she didn't want him to get involved in her battle, and pushed him away to keep him safe.

Trivia

• When Train asked her where she knew the song, Saki said that she didn't remember, suggesting that she, like Saya, suffers from Amnesia.
• The characters for Saki's name are taken from the first character in Saya's given name and the last character used in her family name: サ = Sa and キ = Ki.
• Saki's clothes are similar to those of Iyo from Yamoto Gensouki.
