Layla (レイラ Reira) is a girl who lives with Tim Vertical and the other children in the abandoned factory.
Appearance[]
Layla has wispy light brown hair and pale skin, and blue eyes. She wears a white long sleeved shirt, a purple sleeveless dress shirt over it with a pleated skirt, blue jeans rolled up to her knees, and red slippers. She has round glasses and an orange hairclip.
Personality[]
Layla is a kind, and sweet, young girl. She is very caring and protective towards Tim and the other kids, acting as a mother figure or big sister to them. She is very social and can quickly make friends.
History[]
Layla is either an orphan, or was abondoned by her family. She used to be by herself until she met Tim and Leon, whom became her new family.
Anime Plot[]
Tim leads Train, and Eve to his "house" where they meet Layla. After Train refused to help them, Layla explained to Eve their situation. The two girls bonded, and became good friends. Before departing, Layla had her new friend promise her to tell Leon something should Eve meet him.
When Leon returns home, Layla warmly greets him.
Layla is next seen with her family in the first city approached by Eden. They all manage to not get sucked into the machine except for Tim. Layla, Leon, and the rest of the kids team up with the Sweepers to rescue Eve and stop Eden.
After stopping Eden, the kids open their own bakery, which, according to Leon, was Layla's dream.
Relationships[]
Tim Vertical[]
Layla is Tim's friend. She was always worried about him whenever he got into a fight with the gang that terrorized them. She was concerned for his well-being, and tended to his wounds. When Tim was sucked by Eden, Layla teamed up with the Sweepers to get him back, and was glad when he was rescued.
Eve[]
Eve and Layla got along well, despite knowing one another for a short period of time.
Leon Elliot[]
Layla cares about Leon and was the first to welcome him after he had returned.
