Manga Plot[]
Gyanza Arc[]
Karl asks Belze to watch Train because he had been worried after hearing that Train had been in contact with Creed.
Later, Belze gives Train a video message of Karl, who tells Train about the murders happening in Rubeck City, and that there was a bounty of 15 million yen on the murderer's head.
Train, Sven, and Eve travel to Rubeck City where they meet Karl, whom tells them about the murderer and how he is too dangerous and unstoppable. Train promises to catch the criminal before he and his friends leave. Karl notes on how Train has changed.
After defeating Gyanza, Train goes to see Karl to discuss Tao, and the Apostles of the Stars. Train states that he doesn't care if the world changes, or if there was a revalution, and that he's "more worried about tomorrow's dinner.", which amuses Karl.
Before leaving, Train tells Karl that he will only take 1/10th of the 15 million bounty, while the rest goes to repairing the City, saying that "for the person that raised me, it's only right to do something in return." Karl then remembers when he found Train and reflects on how much he has changed.
