Train Heartnet asks Kyoko Kirisaki if she will keep her promise, to which the girl replies that she will.
Sven Vollfied get ready to fight with his partner and tells Eve, who is worried about the injured sweeper, to stay back. They plan to beat the fight out of the two Numbers so that they do not harm anyone in the town. Baldorias S. Fanghini scoffs at the Ex-Number for protecting an international criminal before attacking. He manages to tie up Train before throwing him in the air. Train crashes to a nearby table, much to Kyoko's shock. The two notice a bomb planted on Heimdall before it explodes. It turns out that the bomb was meant to provide a smoke screen, something Baldor realizes too late when Sven kicks him from behind with his attache weapon case. Train stands up and tells Baldor that partners come in handy.
