The Mission Commences is the seventy-first chapter of the Black Cat manga and the fourth chapter of Volume 8.
Plot[]
Doctor enters Creed Diskenth's chamber where the leader of the Apostles asks him to do him a favor, which is to bring someone. Shiki uses his crystal ball to show the doctor who that person is: Rinslet Walker.
Rinslet is walking through the streets of Stock town, complaining why she has to be the one to looking for leads. She shows a stranger Creed's bounty and asks if he has seen this man, but the stranger replies no and tries to flirt with her. She punches him and continues walking, unaware that she is being followed by Kyoko Kirisaki. Kyoko approaches The thief and attacks her. Rinslet barely manages to dodge Kyoko's fire ball. Just as Kyoko is about to attack again, Doctor approaches and tells Kyoko to refrain from killing Rinslet.
The two Apostles take Rinslet to their secret hideout, which is an old castle hidden in the woods. Doctor tells her that she is the first outsider to ever set foot on this castle, but she may not get out alive. Rinslet uses her earring to inform Cerberus about her whereabouts.
Outside, Nizer comments that he is impressed with Rinslet as Cerberus get ready to raid the castle.
