Plot[]
Having been defeated, Leon Elliot keeps his promise and agrees to leave the Apostles of the Stars. Eve and Kevin McDougall continue their way, but before they go, Eve tells Leon that he can change people by protecting, not killing, them. Leon considers this, but doubts they will defeat Creed Diskenth.
On the way, Eve collapses from exhaustion, so Kevin carries her on his back as a way of repaying her for saving his life twice. Unaware to the duo, they are being watched by an insect.
While walking, Sven Vollfied finds Silphy Dearcroft fighting an unknown Apostle. Silphy shoots three bullets, but her opponent freezes them before they can hit him. He shoots icicles at her, but Sven blocks them and challenges this new Taoist.
